Self Promotion Postcards
Designed at the Bernhardt Fudyma Design Group
Client: Bernhardt Fudyma Design Group
A series of four promotional postcards with a three-fold aim: to acquire new clients (specifically those outside the financial services field), to re-brand the Bernhardt Fudyma Design Group as “BFDG” and to launch the new studio website, bfdg.com. Each card in the series is screen printed by hand and features a four word statement with the initial letters “B”, “F”, “D” and “G”. The fourth and final card reveals the full studio name and the purpose of the mailings. (As the cards went out, clients began to send their own enigmatic “BFDG” sentences back to the studio to let everyone know that they were in on the game.)

Client: The Houghton Fund
The Houghton Fund is the alumni giving campaign for Houghton College. The messaging to alums is that good things start at Houghton. Using real alumni stories of relationships, businesses and ideas that had their beginnings in the rich student years, this series of mailings speak about both the vitality and energy that current students experience at Houghton and how the seeds that are planted during their time at the college continue to flourish and bear good fruit well after they have made the official move from student to alumnus.
